MEMORIAL PLAQUE

 

On Monday 18th August, 2008, our memorial plaque was unveiled jointly by the Mayors of Medway and Gravesham in the presence of a number of relatives of the deceased men. A guard was provided by the Sea Cadet Corp and the Marine Cadet Corp

BERENGRAVE GUIDED WALKS IN 2009

    Sunday 21st June

    Sunday 23rd August

    Sunday 11th October

 

Walks will begin at 10:00am, starting from the entrance in Berengrave Lane, just below the junction with Chalky Bank Road, and will last about 2 - 2 1/2 hours. Not suitable for those with walking difficulties. Not suitable for pushchairs.

 

Prices remain at £1.00 per person. Book in advance at the Riverside Country Park visitor centre,

BERENGRAVE SELF-GUIDED WALKS

 

Our leaflet 'A self-guided walk in Berengrave Nature Reserve (Including Rainham Dock East)' is now on sale, price 50p, from the reception desk in the visitor centre at Riverside Country Park.

 

The leaflet will guide you on a walk of approximately 2 hours around the reserve and introduce you to the history, flora and fauna of the area.

 

Proceeds from the sale will go to support work being done in the reserve
