Nice site, interesting stuff, it is great to see the nature reserve maintained and looked after. I spent many happy hours down there as a kid in the pre-nature reserve days. Sorry, still don't like the boardwalk idea

An excellent web site, and with a lot of the information I've been wondering about for years! I was born only 1/4 mile away opposite The Angel pub, and used to play in the 'Chalk Pit' , as we called it, during the 1970's, as well as playing on the cement works site and around the docks. The research you've done has certainly answered some questions about this area. By the way - my brother and I found a set of railway points out in the willow carr way back in the 1970s, and they were still there this year! Are these the same ones as shown?

Well done Brian an excellent web site, lots of information, very interesting and easy to read. I know how much effort you have put into it and it has been well worth it. You have put Berengrave and Rainham on the map.

G'day, what an acheivement this website is. It is great news to know that Friends of Berengrave are moving forward. Congratulations are in order to Brian who is no doubt a driving force behind this. As an ex ranger, this site brings not only interest but emotion to an area I feel affinity toward even though I now reside 18,000kms away. Hopefully I may get to visit this special place again. To all involved in maintaining the sustainable conservation of Berengrave LNR - keep up the fantastic effort.

A superbly constructed and easily navigatable web-site containing all the information needed concerning this "must visit" Local Nature Reserve. All involved must be heartily congratulated! If I have one criticism, however, it is the usage of "politically correct" metric measurements on the "How to get there page". We're preserving our British heritage, so why not use British Imperial measurements!

This site has been put together with as much enthusiasm as the original FOB. I found it easy to use and very informative. I look forward to seeing more photo's and information maps as time goes on. Well done to everyone who helped to develop this site.

Brilliant web site. Being an old fossil I was particularly interested in the history of the place. Have been promising myself a visit for ages - will certainly make it a priority now

Well done, it's great to see the site up and running and getting Berengrave on the map so to speak. Perhaps a few more photos of the site so people can see how to get around, places to park nearby, future plans etc.

This website is excellent, very informative, very interesting and very well produced. All the information required about FoB is there at your fingertips. This site proves that the Nature Reserve and FoB continues to go from strength to strength. Well done to everybody involved.

This is an extremely interesting site and provides a wealth of information until now unavailable to me at the touch of a button. I've had lots of fun having a look around learning about the many different things about Berengrave. Many thanks for all your hard work!!
